The Arc Southern Chesapeake Open House

The Arc Southern Chesapeake, will host “The Arc Southern Chesapeake Open House” event on Thursday, November 12, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Crofton Country Club in Crofton, Maryland to introduce Anne Arundel County families, educators, referral and service coordination professionals, community leaders, and business owners to the organization’s wide range of services and programs. The Arc Southern Chesapeake, formerly known as The Arc Southern Maryland, recently extended its range of supports for the intellectual and developmentally disabled (IDD) community in Anne Arundel County. Rather than a traditional presentation, the gathering will offer guests an informal and friendly atmosphere to discover what makes The Arc Southern Chesapeake so different, and why the IDD community continues to depend on the nonprofit for support services. Guests can ask questions of The Arc’s team and learn about the nonprofit’s many unique offerings including customized assistive technology for transitioning youth, a 3-D printing micro enterprise, podcasting opportunities, and The Arc’s Ability Cab - a free weeknight and weekend transportation service.
