Lusby Center Welcomes Two New Local Operators Under New Ownership

 Lusby, MD – October 16, 2025 – Hyatt Commercial is pleased to announce that two new operators have taken over businesses at Lusby Center, located at 210 H.G. Trueman Road, Lusby, MD 20657. This marks an exciting new chapter under The Reliable Group’s (TRG) ownership. The acquisition reflects TRG’s commitment to revitalizing local community centers and supporting neighborhood-driven growth.

Las Catrinas Mexican Kitchen has transitioned into a full-service Mexican restaurant, offering an authentic sit-down dining experience. Meanwhile, Black Belt Academy of Lusby has expanded from its Prince Frederick location, taking over the former Tae Kwon Hero’s space to continue serving local families.

Lusby Center is a grocery-anchored neighborhood hub featuring Weis Markets, Dunkin' Donuts, Pizza Hut, and H&R Block. It serves residents of Chesapeake Ranch Estates, home to more than 4,000 households, and is located near a proposed 276-unit multifamily project.

TRG purchased Lusby Center in March 2025 and now serves as the landlord. The firm has focused on sourcing local operators that enhance the tenant mix. Recent capital improvements include new storefront awnings and upgraded landscaping to improve visibility and curb appeal.
